Sixty-five feet of iron and steel
A long shiny truck with a big steering wheel
Racing along down life's highway
Are you ready for the judgment day?
Forty tons rolling along
Listen to that engine singing a song
Purrs like a kitten, sounds pretty swell
At the end of the road is Heaven or hell
Ten forward gears and eighteen wheels
Dangerous curves- up and down hills
Lots of gauges and shiny chrome
Get right with God before you get home
A long-long day and a long-long night
Accept Jesus today and make it right
Life is swiftly passing by
It is appointed unto man once to die.
When the wheels stop rolling
at the end of the road,
When you have hauled your
very last load,
When there is no longer
Toils and strife,
Will your name be written
in the Lamb's book of Life?
